Located at southern part of JiangsuProvince, a beautiful and abundant Yangtze River Delta region, being 160km far from Shanghai in the east and 120km far from Nanjing in the west, Changzhou is both a famous cultural city with a long history over 2500 years and an economically developed industrial city full of modern flavor. It governs two cities and five districts with a total area of 4375 sqkms and a population of 3.52 million people.

Changzhou has a sound industrial base and a complete set of sectors. At present there have been 73 countries and regions,  that have made investment in Changzhou, totaling over 4300 and more foreign-funded enterprises in accumulation. In top 500 transnational corporations, 40 have made investment and run enterprises in Changzhou.

Changzhou has a developed education and a solid sci-tech strength. The whole city has 11 universities and colleges as well as over 200 thousand various kinds of professional technicians, who can provide rich talent resources for development of hi-tech industries and modern manufacturing industry.
